Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse “Catastrophes and Human Behavior” Summer Course @ Michigan State University

You’ll have to wait until this fall for another season of “The Walking Dead,” but in the meantime you can enrich (and protect) your brain with a course on how to fend off the cranium-eating creatures — while earning college credit.

Michigan State University is offering a seven-week online summer class open to the public titled “Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse: Catastrophes & Human Behavior.” The purpose of the two-credit class is to “utilize the hypothetical to draw attention to historical cataclysmic events and their impact on personal, societal, and global levels”; this will apparently include the Walking Dead-inspired “Catastrophic Event Simulation,” which splits up students into survivor groups. (I’m guessing if you live, you pass the course.)
